Mother Island, so called by the resident cult, is so called because it resembles a mother holding a child. It is formed around an extremely small tectonic plate which is constantly rotating in a clockwise direction causing much geological disturbance and often opening Mt. Grenton. The climate of Mother Island is similar of Northern Ireland. Much of the land of the island is covered with small hillocks making it unsuitable for farming.The climate of Mother Island is similar of Northern Ireland so very few things can be cultivated, however the volcanic soil makes for a good harvest and fertile crops. Mother Islands main source of meat and wool are goats which are mostly herded between Greenlake and Grenton.

Mother Island is sparsely populated with only one major town and several villages. The largest population centre is St. Bernard with 50,000 people.
